Day 2 of the Exchange Black business holiday gift guide! Sometimes it’s difficult to find what to gift someone when it seems like they already have everything. Consider gifting them an experience, service for their home or car, or focus on health and wellness centered gifts! National Day of Empowerment (NDOE) was created to provide National Urban League Young Professional chapters with the platform to partner with their affiliates, guild chapters, and community. With holiday shopping season approaching, The Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League created a holiday shopping guide of Black owned business owned by our amazing members. We'll post different business throughout the week. We hope you'll consider spending time at these establishments and supporting them financially through the remainder of this year and for years to come!

Congratulations to 2 Exchange members, Rico Francis and Mike Coleman!! CAFE honored Rico Francis for his unwavering dedication to our community. Rico has created pathways for Far Eastside youth and residents, offering them exclusive experiences and opportunities that would have otherwise been out of reach. His guidance and care have truly made a lasting impact on our community. —— Mike Coleman was recently selected to participate in the National Urban League’s Congressional Advocacy Program. The purpose of this program is to train leaders in the Urban League Movement to be more effective grass-tops and grassroots advocates to better serve the interests of their local affiliates, communities, and beyond. Happy Friday! The Exchange wanted to give a reminder that our Spades & Spelling Bee game night will be happening on this upcoming Monday, October 28 at Teas Me Cafe at the IU Indy campus center. We’ll be meeting from 6-8 pm so be ready for a fun filled night! We’ll have various card and table games for everyone to play and those who signed up for it will also be participating in the spelling bee. We’re looking forward to seeing you all on Monday night!
