IU Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research

Our mission is to leverage the academic and operational cybersecurity strengths of Indiana University by providing custom solutions to cybersecurity problems. CACR is distinctive in interweaving technical and policy expertise. The Center draws on Indiana University’s wide range of scholarly expertise in computer science, informatics, accounting and information systems, criminal justice, law, organizational behavior, public policy, and other disciplines, as well as the extensive practical cybersecurity experience of its operational units. CACR's leadership reflects this range of expertise. CACR is an Indiana University research center affiliated with the Indiana University Pervasive Technology Institute and a member of the Indiana University cybersecurity community, which includes the Maurer School of Law, the Kelley School of Business, the School of Informatics and Computing, REN-ISAC, the University Information Security Office and the University Information Policy Office.
