This year's Thanksgiving travel in the U.S. is set to break records! ???? A recent report by AAA determined that 80 million Americans will travel during the holiday period, exceeding pre-pandemic numbers. 71.3 million of those are projected to be traveling by car. Unfortunately, the busy travel season can increase roadway risks: According to a Cambridge Mobile Telematics analysis, distracted driving is 18% percent higher on Thanksgiving day. It was great to hear how Wisconsin is accelerating V2X deployment. This week, the U.S. Department of Transportation #ITSJPO delivered a Foundational V2X Training in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
