(????????????) took place. Physicians rely on their knowledge and skills to treat patients, but treatments don’t always have the same results across different patient groups. Creating medical guidelines takes time and adds to their already heavy workload. The HeKDisco project combines evidence-based medicine (EBM) and AI to build a knowledge base for early diagnosis, innovative treatments, and outcome prediction in four key areas: multiple sclerosis, sepsis, breast cancer, and clinical fall risk. Last week, the first project review of the ITEA project ?????????????? (????????????????) took place. Computational engineering models have enhanced design and analysis processes but remain difficult to reuse, exchange, and integrate into larger systems. The SmartEM project addresses these challenges by developing a reference architecture for engineering model spaces, enabling better collaboration, reducing costly design corrections, and promoting early data and model exchanges. By shifting from data spaces to model spaces, SmartEM paves the way for a broader data and model economy in manufacturing, ultimately helping end-users reduce development times.??? Patients face a complex mix of advice from various medical experts and advice and recommendations from other sources. The TREAT project aims to empower patients by providing a platform for semantic interoperability. Through the integration of AI, wearable devices and advanced user interfaces, patients will be able to easily access their health data, receive personalised recommendations, and connect with healthcare services more effectively. By incorporating AI and innovative technologies like Extended Reality and conversational AI, TREAT will help patients take control of their health. The solution promises to enhance patient engagement, improve health management at home, and ultimately lead to better outcomes for individuals with long-term health conditions. ????
