On September 8, 2024, Executive Director Marc Fisher and Associate Director Brian Cluever attended the MADD Illinois/Iowa/Wisconsin Heroes banquet. This event honors the police officers who have dedicated their enforcement efforts to reducing impaired driving. We were honored to receive the Murphy Leadership Award for our work in providing education and resources to law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges regarding impaired driving enforcement and prosecution. Pictured with Brian and Marc is Jennifer Cifaldi, the Illinois Traffic Resource Prosecutor whose collaboration made this possible. We look forward to hosting the Midwest Traffic Safety Conference in November.

We are proud to assist in organizing and supporting the Hoffman Estates Convoy. We would love to see as many trucks hauling their local police department squad cars as we can. Join us August 24, 2024!! ??Trucks welcome in the Convoy include semi-trucks, truck/trailer combination, fire trucks, dump trucks, flat beds, buses, large tow trucks, landscaping, large box trucks, etc. All trucks must be 10-GVW or larger. Hazardous materials or trucks with alcohol/tobacco/etc. names or logos on them are not permitted. ??In addition to traditional participants, the Hoffman Estates Truck Convoy will host the annual Squad Haul. Lowboys, flat beds and rollback tow trucks are invited to haul a marked Police Squad Car in the Convoy. Both trucks and squads must register online in advance through this site. Squad registration is $50. ??Event Details: The Hoffman Estates Truck Convoy, hosted by the Hoffman Estates & Buffalo Grove Police Departments, will take place on Saturday, August 24 at NOW Arena located at 5333 Prairie Stone Pkwy. ??Registration is $100 per truck and includes an official Convoy goody bag (while supplies last) and lunch for each driver. ??Sponsorship Opportunities: https://lnkd.in/gZcNnJpc
