One of our core missions since starting Italians in VC from London more than 2 years ago was to enable Italians abroad to connect, come together, and foster greater interest in the Italian ecosystem. While there's still much to do, moments like last week in Torino are fundamental in developing this network effect for our growing ecosystem. ???? Huge thanks Vento?and?Exor Ventures?teams?for their tremendous behind-the-scenes work. (Diyala, Isabella, Martina, Arianna and many others) In the past years, you've been putting Italian Tech Week at the forefront, by attracting the world's most influential founders and investors to our country. From the stage, Sam Altman shared a powerful message with Italian and European founders: "This is a time when the earth is shaking, and the normal rules of who can succeed at what are suspended. Startups have an incredible edge as they can move and iterate faster when there's this level of dynamism." ?? For investors, we were fortunate to witness in the same room that three of the most influential people in VC are Italian. ???? Grazie Mille Douglas Leone (Sequoia Capital), Mike Volpi (Index Ventures), and Luca Bocchio (Accel) for inspiring the next generation of Italian investors around the world to think bigger. (Hope you like the t-shirts ??) and finally big thank you to BonelliErede for partnering with us to host a side event gathering over 100 investors and unicorn founders from the community. Looking forward to seeing you all next year at ITW25!
