The Italian Club of Staten Island recently held a productive Board Meeting, where we discussed our upcoming Scholarship Awards and the milestone 75th Diamond Jubilee Gala. We also had the privilege of welcoming six new members into our growing brotherhood during our general meeting in February. As our club continues to expand, so does our commitment to philanthropy. From supporting education through our Scholarship Awards to giving back through our annual food drive and other charitable initiatives, our impact is stronger than ever. We’re incredibly proud of our brothers for their dedication, generosity, and tireless efforts in strengthening our mission. Here’s to continued success and community service! ??????????

On Friday, December 13th, the Italian Club of Staten Island Foundation Inc took to Jetro Restaurant Depot in Brooklyn, NY, for our Annual Food Drive. This year, we celebrated an incredible milestone—thanks to the generous donations received in 2024, we were able to increase our spending budget by 36%, allowing us to purchase $15,000 worth of food. The next day, Saturday, December 14th, we delivered holiday food packages to 320 families in need across Staten Island, bringing some comfort and joy to our community during this special time of year. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers and donors who made this possible. Special thanks to HYLAN Partners In Sound Productions Joe Borelli David Carr and The Carl V Bini Memorial Fund for their generous support in making this year’s food drive a success. On Wednesday June 12th, 2024 Our Members Frank Reali, Greg Magras and Mark Giacalone attended and supported the Staten Island Board of Realtors “Realtor Golf Challenge Cup” held at Grand Oaks Country Club. The Historic Old Bermuda Inn played host to the Italian Club of Staten Island Foundation's General Meeting. Patrons were treated to a delectable spread of dishes while discussions revolved around the esteemed Patsy Serra Award, slated for next month, and the Club's milestone 75th Diamond Anniversary in 2025. On Thursday May 16th, 2024, our Member Michael Anderson was awarded the Above Self Service Award at the SOUTH SHORE ROTARY FOUNDATION OF STATEN ISLAND INC 2024 Annual Gala. Michael works for the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, where he has helped hundreds of small businesses navigate many different aspects of their operations. Michael is dedicated to helping the Staten Island community and is a key asset to our Club. The SOUTH SHORE ROTARY FOUNDATION OF STATEN ISLAND INC Founded January 22nd, 1955 is led by our Board of Director/Member Anthony Cerverizzo, who currently serves as the Rotary’s President. The South Shore Rotary is part of an international network, which consistently continues it’s mission “to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.” Congratulations!
