Today, ITAC celebrated #ManufacturingDay with a fantastic event at Adaptive Design Association Inc.! ?? As part of the national theme, "See Yourself in Manufacturing," we invited local high school students to experience the world of modern manufacturing. We were thrilled to be joined by Assemblyman Tony Simone, who is dedicated to expanding opportunities for manufacturing jobs in our community. Adaptive Design, known for its incredible work crafting custom-built products for children with disabilities, provided a hands-on glimpse into how manufacturing can make a positive impact. From innovative educational tools to adaptive equipment, students saw firsthand how engineers and fabricators bring these life-changing ideas to life. This event was made possible thanks to funding from the Workforce Development Institute (WDI), helping us introduce students to the diverse and rewarding opportunities in manufacturing. We're proud to be part of Manufacturing Day and look forward to sharing more from our upcoming events!
