The Cinco de Mayo Festival, celebrated on May 11th, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, is a vibrant Latin community event that welcomes everyone to join in the festivities. The festival features numerous food and beverage booths, a fun fair, and, for the first time, a dedicated space for #STEM and #Healthcare. We take pride in our commitment to supporting and caring for the younger generation's educational development, especially in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Our program provides children with the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects, thanks to the materials provided by Prairie STEM, volunteers from UNO Aim for the Stars, and the support of #CincodeMayo. We believe that our program will inspire and ignite curiosity in children and encourage them to pursue careers in STEM-related fields.
