Here, Dr. Paul Deering and Dr. Zaki Kuruppalil—both members of the Department of Engineering Technology and Management—showcase the lab’s latest tech, which includes FANUC America Robots, Rockwell Automation PLCs, and Conveyors with I/O modules from APT Manufacturing. Hats off to Dr. Deering and Dr. Kuruppalil for challenging themselves and completing the training needed to teach state-of-the-art robotics and automation training at OU!

Team IST had the privilege of installing a Lincoln Electric 5’ x 5’ welding booth at Ypsilanti Community High School! The booth, which features a fume extraction system, will allow Instructor John Kim’s students to learn and practice multiple welding processes and Oxy/Fuel cutting.

The Ohio State University Baker Systems Engineering Building recently installed FANUC Standalone LR Mate 200iD Robots to outfit their lab for customized FANUC Training—expanding the lab's capacity to give their students the upper hand in the future of robotics and automation.
