“Stick to your day job” … I know! But I have to say, it was an incredible experience to join my amazing colleagues in the kitchen at a US customer site last week to create a smash burger ??.
I had the immense pleasure of seeing firsthand how the talented chefs and kitchen teams at ISS A/S’s premium food services company, Guckenheimer, craft delicious, healthy, and sustainable meals for customers.
As part of the ISS family, Guckenheimer operates hundreds of locations across the USA, partnering with customers to deliver food programmes designed by culinary experts and brought to life in on-site cafés, restaurants, coffee bars, micro kitchens, and through catered events.
Guckenheimer is all about building strong connections - with customers, employees, and local communities - while prioritising whole-person health and environmentally friendly practices. Recently, we celebrated a major milestone: Guckenheimer is the first major US food services provider to cut food waste in half – in fact, we reduced our food waste by 64% compared to 2022.
