I just wanted to shout out iSolvRisk Inc., real quick. A couple years ago I posted that I'd be changing careers to pursue software development. Joseph Zaarour (founder of iSolvRisk) liked my post and I messaged him to say thank you. He told me that if I was serious about this change I should apply to join his team, as an intern. I remember celebrating a ton with my wife when I got the email that I had been accepted. It completely changed my life. I was able to get TONS of real world experience over the next 9 months. I became a totally different dev. My abilities and learning took off from there. I got to work with Aidan Kolar who was a great mentor and a lot of fun, along with a lot of other great people like Shreya Adupa. I was very blessed to be able to get my start there and I'm very grateful for those guys.

??Education is everything! I think it is. ??I have touched education in one way or another my entire life: ??????from certifying to be a math teacher, ??to being voted in as VP of local School Board, ????????to building training courses for partners and MSPs at IBM, ??to writing technical content for IBM Red Books, ??????to growing Partnership programs in the Edtech industry, ??to today, at a start-up, launching a Gamification platform for Risk Management to support high schools and universities educate students for the future workforce. ??Are we Educating the Workforce of the Future? ??I'm tuning in as I want to help education in the future, after-all, it is engrained in my past.
