Handmade in Hawai?i since 1946, Island Slipper is the last remaining Made in Hawai?i, local-born footwear brand. The brand is rich with over half a century of history that started with the Motonaga Family, who produced the original innovative sandals based on traditional Japanese style zori. In 1985, current owners John & Daisy Carpenter and Ohana took on the legacy of Island Slipper, elevating the brand further to its world-class reputation of high function, fashion conscious, high quality sandals the brand is now internationally reputed for. There are two Island Slipper store locations in Honolulu, Hawai?i, where you can enjoy shopping more than 200 styles of men?s and women?s slippers.
