Today, we’re thrilled to highlight another Front Desk Champion Marlene Lopez from Residence Inn San Mateo, nominated by General Manager Hugo Hernandez! Hugo shared a touching story about Marlene’s exceptional service: “We had a guest who stayed with us due to water damage in her home. Before checking in, she came to tour the property to ensure it was a good fit for her. The guest had difficulty walking, so she needed a ground-floor room near the gatehouse. On her arrival day, Marlene made sure to block a suitable room and coordinated with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to prepare it for her long-term stay. She even arranged for our houseperson to assist the guest with her belongings upon arrival. Thanks to Marlene’s efforts, the guest posted a lovely review!” Thank you, Marlene, for your compassionate dedication to our guests!
