Congratulations to ISC West for winning the Greatest Trade Show of 2023 Grand Award at this year’s Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Awards & Summit. Not only did ISC West see a 56.2% increase in attendance, but the show also saw an 89.6% surge in participation in its SIA Education at ISC West program. NPS scores for attendees and exhibitors jumped, and satisfaction reached an all-time high with 91% of attendees and 92% of exhibitors being satisfied with the 2023 event. It was an incredible evening during SIA Honors Night yesterday after day one of a packed and content-rich day at ISC East. Security Industry Association (SIA) ISC Security Events Many thanks to Ken Kocher for his superb job as Honors Night MC, SIA Chair Scott Dunn, the many event sponsors, the leadership of ESA - Electronic Security Association Kevin Stone Merlin Guilbeau, IOM for co-leading the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), the SIA team, attendees, and auction item donors and winners. Thank you Lee Odess Hilary Pogarch Gallagher for your creativity and enthusiasm for supporting the FAST mission. Together we are increasing the awareness of FAST on its path to leading the recuitment of new employees into our industry. Congratulations to four exceptional people recognized by peers and colleagues last night: Alice DiSanto (Progress Award), Scott Gross (Insightful Practitioner Award), John Nemerofsky (George R. Lippert Award), and Fernando Fischer (RX's leader in partnership with SIA to support ISC East, ISC West, and Expo Seguridad Mexico).

Yesterday, I had the immense honor of delivering the Day 2 Keynote speech at ISC East, presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum. Standing in a room filled with dedicated professionals was a moment of sincere gratitude and reflection for me. My talk, “Living Ambitiously: A Career of Continuous Learning and Innovation,” was an opportunity to share my journey—from my beginnings in Chicago, to my international internship in Egypt, to living in NYC and becoming a leader in security operations and technology. I explored the power of ambition, resilience, and embracing change to drive both personal and professional growth. I left ISC East inspired, energized, and more committed than ever to living ambitiously while empowering others to do the same. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and shared your thoughts. Your engagement made this experience unforgettable!
