Roland Berger 'Stablecoins: The Future of Money?' 1. #Stablecoins Overview - Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies pegged to national currencies like the US dollar. Initially used for trading, their use has expanded into payments, remittances, and savings, with a market capitalisation exceeding $215 billion. 2. Disruptive Impact - Stablecoins offer faster, cheaper, and more direct transactions compared to traditional financial systems, potentially disrupting core banking services like checking accounts and cross-border transfers. 3. Adoption Drivers - Factors such as hyperinflation (e.g., in Turkey), remittances, and regulatory developments are fueling the growth of stablecoins, particularly in emerging economies where they offer an alternative to traditional currency. 4. Business Opportunities - Stablecoin issuers and payment providers are generating significant revenue by holding reserves in low-risk assets. Banks and financial institutions are starting to explore stablecoin applications for cross-border settlements and payment services. 5. Challenges to Overcome - Despite their potential, stablecoins face challenges, including stability of reserves, regulatory hurdles, and integration with traditional financial services. These need to be addressed for broader adoption. So What? The rise of stablecoins marks a paradigm shift in the financial landscape, offering faster and cheaper alternatives to traditional systems. Financial institutions must act quickly to incorporate stablecoin solutions or risk becoming obsolete. Regulatory frameworks must balance innovation with stability to ensure sustainable growth in the digital financial ecosystem. Great work Alay Adani, Anish Shivdasani, Hanno Dachwitz, CFA, Jeroen Gillekens, Nizar Hneini

??Sharing is 100% Caring!?? In this our ever changing world, being able to give to others is sometimes seen as “charity” but there's more to giving. Being able to share from what we have is being able to understand the situation that others are currently in and through sharing we are able to take part in the #experience of others and put a smile on their face. Being caring allows us to have #empathy for others and to live a life based on affection, love, and compassion for the people around us. When we share our feelings, knowledge and possessions with others, we create a relationship of trust, which in most cases flows back and helps us feel secure and happy. Bullies thrive on your reaction. Take that away, and they lose. Most people think bullying is just about insults, but in reality, it’s a battle for control. Bullies want to see you upset. They want control. But when you stay calm, confident, and unbothered, they lose interest. Stay strong. ?? Don’t give them the reaction they want. Control your emotions. ?? Anger fuels them—indifference disarms them. Know the difference. ?? Words can’t hurt you unless you let them, but physical harm is a different story—seek help if you’re in danger. When you refuse to play their game, they stop playing. Strength isn’t just about fighting back—it’s about knowing when not to engage.
