Join us for our next event on March 28, 2025! It's FREE. About this event In the digital world, ensuring data integrity and security is paramount, and one of the key tools used to achieve this is hashing. A hash function takes an input, such as a message or file, and returns a fixed-size string of bytes, typically a digest that appears random. This output, or hash value, is unique to each input, making it a fundamental building block in various areas of computer science, including data security, blockchain technology, and password storage. Programmatic hashing examples will be provided in Python. ~Dr. James Davis Registration: 11:00 am - 11:30 am Lunch 11:30 am - 12:00 pm Speaker 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm What's for Lunch?
