By partnering with families and the community, we prevent child abuse and neglect and strengthen families. Since 2007, Isabel’s House has served and provided local families in the Ozarks with round-the-clock care for children and support for parents facing domestic violence, homelessness, unsafe housing, mental health concerns, and other dire circumstances. It is our goal to strengthen families and keep them together.

We are so grateful for capital funding from the 2024 O'Reilly Charity Golf Classic which enabled us to update our privacy fence! It may be cold outside right now but we are looking forward to warmer days when kiddos at Isabel's House can enjoy this beautiful update to our outdoor playground area. O'Reilly Auto Parts

On Thursday, Isabel’s House was honored to receive a generous $30,000 donation from the 2024 O’Reilly Charity Golf Classic! These essential funds will go directly to our operations and capital support to assist in our mission of preventing child abuse and neglect in the Ozarks. We are forever grateful for all of the support we receive. Thank you to all who make this donation possible! ??

We are beyond thrilled to have received this funding from CFO's Inclusion and Belonging program to support our efforts of continuing education for our staff. We know this funding will help us better understand and serve families at Isabel's House.
Grantmaking to widen circles in our communities! ?? We recently made a total of $12,000 in grants from our Inclusion & Belonging program, which supports small grant requests to ensure equitable participation and engagement in communities across the region: 1?? Afrocentric Arts LLC to support its publication, Urban Voices, which serves Black communities in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois through online and print news. 2?? Hospice Foundation of the Ozarks to support “Bringing Equity to End-of-Life,” a project to expand advance care planning to Hispanic communities in southern Missouri by focusing on cultural and linguistic inclusivity. 3?? Isabel's House to train staff on textured hair care, unconscious bias, anti-racism and understanding the effects of systemic racism on families in Springfield and Greene County. 4?? Western Cherokee Nation to bring awareness of Native American culture to southwest Missouri through its first Powwow in Stone County, held Oct. 12–13. About $28,000 remains available in the Inclusion & Belonging Grant Program. Applications are reviewed and awarded through May 1.?For more info: https://lnkd.in/g9crN-dQ #sgf #swmo #ozarks #semo #nonprofits #grantmaking #philanthropy

The Isabel's House team alongside one of our amazing Board of Directors members, Micheala S., attended the Non-profit Outlook yesterday. We had a wonderful time networking and learning about the best ways to collaborate with community businesses to create strategic partnerships. We're excited to put this into action!

An amazing September Junior Board meeting in the books. We discussed the importance of teamwork and collaboration, set fundraising goals, signed up for volunteer opportunities, and brainstormed ways to fulfill Junior Board commitments. Their ideas are fantastic! We are looking forward to guiding and watching these young philanthropists grow and engage in the community. So many exciting things are happening at Isabel’s House! ??

We were thrilled to encourage and support everyone in their success and are thankful to be a part of such an amazingly collaborative and philanthropic region. So many exciting things are happening at Isabel's House!

It’s the first day of school! We wanted to share just a few photos with you all — because of YOU we were able to provide back to school supplies, backpacks, new shoes, and clothes to all of the kiddos in the House for the past month PLUS to every single family who came to us for back-to-school support! The joy and pride of sporting fun backpacks, new shoes, and clean clothes is something every single for child should experience. The outpouring of generosity and care given to our kiddos in preparation for school has been amazing. It truly takes a village and the Isabel’s House village is phenomenal! Thank you! ????
