Irwin & Leighton is proud to announce the successful completion of the new Simon Center for Business & Economics at Lafayette College! As the Construction Manager, we were honored to oversee the transformation of the former Kunkel Hall, an existing 32,000 SF building, through extensive interior renovations and additions. The scope of work included sitework, landscaping, concrete, masonry, structural steel, millwork, roofing, doors, glass, drywall, interior finishes, and comprehensive mechanical and electrical systems. This project represents our continued commitment to delivering high-quality construction for the academic sector, and we are excited to see this space inspire the next generation of business and economics leaders! Philadelphia into the all-new NBC Sports Bar — the ultimate destination for sports fans and patrons. This exciting renovation included: construction of a brand new exterior bar, installation of modern lighting to enhance the atmosphere, updated finishes throughout the space, as well as new food service equipment/fixtures to improve both the guest experience and operational efficiency.
