In 2013, Jeffrey Smith came across these healthy Girl Scouts at an Iowa farmers market who refused to sell cookies with GMOs. Instead, they raised money from non-GMO organic products. Another group in Missouri did the same. Now our friends Dr. Michelle Perro, Dr. Stephanie Seneff, and Zen Honeycutt have raised the bar higher, exposing a slew of toxins in the iconic cookies. A recently published study in Nature Genetics shows that the use of CRISPR/Cas 'gene scissors' causes unintended genetic changes that are different to random mutations. According to the study, major structural changes in chromosomes occur much more frequently in the genomic regions targeted by the 'gene scissors' than otherwise would be the case. The biotech industry has repeatedly lied about the safety and predictability of gene editing. Their lobbyists have successfully convinced governments around world to deregulate these dangerous GMOs, which threaten our food and environment.
