Next up for our #FriYAY team member introduction is Mary Starr. She’s been a familiar “face” around here for a while, but we’re thrilled to have her join our team. As the Regional Material Sales Representative in Virginia, Mary will be focused on our DirtHound sales and large scale material projects. Q: How long have you been working in the industry and how long with Iron Sheepdog? ?A: I have?worked in the civil construction industry?for almost 10 years. I am 4 weeks in at Iron Sheepdog. Q: What do you like most about working at Iron Sheepdog? A:?Everyone here is a lot fun to be around,?but they know how to work hard and make things happen. Q: What's the most unexpected thing about working at Iron Sheepdog? A: There are so many different personalities and talents; each person has their strengths that help this program run like a well oiled machine. It is a prime example?of the saying "it takes all types to run the world." Q: What out-of-office activities do you enjoy? Favorite places traveled? Favorite movie/show/book? A: I like to go to the Outer Banks, attend concerts, ride motorcycles, camp, and work on home renovations. I do a lot of reading - my favorite genres are crime thrillers and mystery. #TGIFriYAY #HaulYeah #TeamSheepdog

Our team continues to grow, so we’ve got a two-fer this #FriYAY! First up, meet Jacob Teeter. Jacob is an operations specialist with Iron Sheepdog, where he works with our brokers to help them utilize the platform to improve their business. He also brings experience as a West Point graduate to help our operations team with continuous process improvement. Q. How long have you been working in the industry and how long with Iron Sheepdog? A. I am new to the short-haul trucking industry, but have about six years of experience in operations/logistics during my time as an Army Officer. I started working at Iron Sheepdog a little over three months ago. Q. What do you like most about working at Iron Sheepdog? A. I'm thoroughly?enjoying my time at Iron Sheepdog, thanks to the exceptional team! I really enjoy working with individuals that are dedicated to providing our customers with the best product / customer service possible,?as well as the opportunity to learn from each of the departments within the company. Q. What's the most unexpected thing about working at Iron Sheepdog? A. The most surprising?aspect of working at Iron Sheepdog is the extraordinary level of innovation and commitment?to help revolutionize an entire industry through cutting-edge technology. It's exciting to be a part of a team that is so forward-thinking! Q. What out-of-office activities do you enjoy? Favorite places traveled? Favorite movie/show/book? A. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family / friends,?traveling, lifting weights, and watching football. My wife and I are new to Virginia, so we have a lot of places to explore around here. My favorite travel destinations are Cambodia, Prague, or Dublin. My favorite movie is The Interview or Warrior. Favorite show is the Band of Brothers series.
