ICRI has completed the 54th Round of the ICRI Spectrometer Proficiency Testing Program and the report will be issued soon. We are continuing our Research project to produce spectrometer reference standards and document the methods.??We hope this will help suppliers of these reference materials that are essential to our members and all iron producing foundries and suppliers. We would like to recognize and thank the following for their support and participation in this project so far. A special thanks to the Ductile Iron Society for supporting the research and to Quality Castings Company and Ward Manufacturing who volunteered to pour sample molds. They will participate in the lab testing of the samples along with Benton Foundry, Casting Solutions, Elyria Foundry, Grede-Browntown, Grede-St. Cloud, John Deere, MTI - Auburn Casting Center, OSCO Industries-Jackson, OSCO Industries-Portsmouth, and Rochester Metal Products. Also special recognition to C.A. Lawton Company and Humtown Products for their assistance to provide tooling.
