WHAT IS WATER WARS? An extreme tag game (a.k.a. Senior Assassin) where players hunt targets, tag each other with squirt guns, and win cash prizes ! It’s a blast…literally! The official app for joining is SLAP: Water Wars & Assassin! ?? DATES ?? Water Gun & Swag Giveaway Day: Sunday, March 16 from 12-3 Join us @ Yerba Buena Gardens for FREE water guns, swag, & snacks. Play games, meet your competitors and Team IRL. Can’t make it to Swag day? No problem! Team IRL will be at Yerba Buena Gardens and the GDC area 10-3 everyday this week, March 17-20th hosting mini matches and giving away goodies. You can still join the big showdown remotely (see “HOW TO PLAY”). ??GDC Water Wars Showdown: Start: Noon? PT - Monday, March 17th End: Evening - Thursday, March 20th ?? HOW TO JOIN Step 1: Download the SLAP: Water Wars & Assassin iOS app Step 2: Create your profile and click “JOIN GAME” from the home screen Step 3: Enter code GDCWaterWars to join! ?? HOW TO PLAY ? Check the SLAP app at noon PT on Monday! Once the Showdown starts, the SLAP app will automatically unleash you from the lobby into the game!! (Don’t worry, we’ll send you a notification to remind you and move you into the game even if you miss the countdown). ? Receive your target in the app ? Use the in-app map and location features to hunt them down! ? When you get close to your target, press the blinking SLAP button on your map!?? ? Eliminate your target by tagging them with your squirt gun! Hitting the SLAP button automatically scores your eliminations by capturing the moment of defeat with our in-app video! You can share your victory or relive your humiliation by downloading the video or sharing directly from the app. Don’t forget to tag us @playslap on IG or @playslaptoday on TikTok! ? After you eliminate your target, you inherit their target. If you’ve been eliminated, stick around in Spectator Mode to talk a little trash in SLAPChat or help plan your revenge with the remaining contestants! ?? HOW TO WIN ? “SLAP” as many players as possible throughout the week! ? The person with the most “SLAPS" out of the last 2 players standing wins! ? Stay sharp! Your assassin could be anyone at any time! The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $500 cash prize!
