IREM? Columbus is in the midst of our busiest season, with the Annual Signature Forecast Event just two weeks away. Even so, we took some time to step away and celebrate one of our longtime supporters, Beth Hazel, FMP of 4M Building Solutions. Beth, along with Jamie Ottery of Muirfield Energy, was honored as one of our Task Force of the Year winners. While we celebrated this achievement, Beth has been in our thoughts and prayers following the passing of her beloved husband, Paul, last week. Beth has always been a true champion of IREM? Columbus, a dedicated supporter of our Association, and a cherished friend. As we remember and honor Paul’s life, we will continue to lift Beth up during this challenging time and support her as she has supported us for so many years. ??? Despite the rainy day, we had another fantastic session with our ACoM? class at IREM? Columbus! ??? We kicked off the morning with a beautiful and healthy breakfast from Sarah Sepe and Team ServiceMASTER by Neverman —the perfect start to fuel the day. A special thanks to Brian F. Lozell, CPM ? for leading us through hands-on experiences with mechanical rooms, elevator mechanics, and RTU roof equipment. With this newfound knowledge, our students will bring tremendous value back to their companies! Lunch was a treat from Team Thompson Restoration Associates led by Arianny Damian RMS, CMS and Adam Thompson, who introduced us to Bibibop (and sparked a fun conversation on how to pronounce it!). It was a first for Brian F. Lozell, CPM ? and he’s already a fan.
