Game On: A Family Game Night will kick off Crosby Scholars' tenth year of providing Iredell County students with opportunities to turn their dreams of higher education into a reality. Fifty-four Crosby Scholars joined our sophomore mini-academy today at Lake Norman High School! We focused on four quick topics: 1) Identifying personality profiles and how they can guide the student journey--from high school to college and career options--as well as how those profiles work within various professions 2) Continuing to explore course and career interests while in high school 3) Exploring different type of colleges, and looking at the different options offered by certification programs, immediately entering the job market, or pursuing 2-year or 4-year degrees) 4) Considering FREE test prep services available to you for ACT/SAT. They were quick to get back to work, but we managed to catch a photo at the last moment. It was awesome to see such a great turnout today, Wildcats!

We always love seeing new and returning students, and it was a great turnout of Vikings at our Freshman Academy at South Iredell High School a couple weeks ago. Thank you for having us. You guys are awesome!!

Middle School Coordinator Zoe Harding was representing Crosby Scholars at last night's Trunk or Treat at East Iredell Middle School last night! Go Knights!

Forty-five Lake Norman High School Crosby Scholars joined High School Coordinator Jennifer Christian in the media center yesterday for a freshman academy session. Students learned to calculate their GPA and why it matters. There was also a discussion about the importance being involved (participating in clubs, activities, sports, the arts, volunteering, leadership, and more). Thanks, Wildcats!!
