Erisa’s mother was a successful businesswoman, but her life was crumbling due to her husband’s drug addiction. At her breaking point, she decided to take her life, but first, she cried out to God for help—even though she didn’t yet know Jesus. But we know that God can work through intentional and special ways to pursue His children. A real estate agent and viewer of Shabakeh 7, compelled by God, shared the Gospel with Erisa’s mother during a house showing. Her mom accepted Christ, and their lives were transformed. Erisa witnessed miracles in their home’s house church and found her own faith, which has now grown into a deep commitment to spreading the Gospel. Erisa became a faithful member of the Iran Alive team and serves as a content creator, reaching other Iranians with the Gospel through social media. Erisa grew up in Iran, caught between her mother’s Christian faith and the strict Islamic culture all around her. At 10, a Quran teacher warned her that if she didn’t fully cover her hair, God would punish her by turning her hair into snakes and hanging her by it in hell. This fear of punishment stayed with her—until she began to see miracles in her home’s house church and experience the true love of Jesus. Many believers must rely on digital resources or smuggled materials just to grow in their faith. Yet, their hunger for God’s Word is unshaken.
