International Program in Public Health Leadership (IPPHL)

We are thrilled to announce the 35 incoming fellows of Cohort 8 who are joining the IPPHL community! Selected from a record applicant pool of nearly 1200, this year's cohort represents 23 countries in Africa, bringing expert perspectives from a wide range of programmatic areas at the country, state/province/regional, and local levels of public health leadership. ? Beginning with onboarding and orientation activities this month, fellows will dive into fast-paced and rigorous public policy and leadership programming, complete hands-on experiential work with personal projects, and engage in rich discussions and learning opportunities with cohort peers and program partners. It's been a week since Cohort 7 graduated and we are still energized from our time together! At the Capstone in Accra, fellows reconvened to share their experiences and reflect on the preceding Launch & Learn portion of the program, during which they put tools and frameworks covered in class into practice, took steps to move their policy projects forward, and completed their policy briefs. The Capstone culminated in policy pitch presentations, drawing on months of policy project work. As we reflect on an incredible Cohort 7 experience, we look forward to welcoming Cohort 8!
