With this award, a team led by IPPH's Director of Programs Aimee Dixon Anthony, PhD will develop "A Capital Documentary: Washington, D.C., An Embodiment of America’s Contradictions," a film project exploring the origins of the Nation’s Capital and the enslaved/free blacks that helped to shape it — a story that has never been fully told before!
