?? We’re excited to announce 'Transforming Tomorrow', a new film series in collaboration with BBC StoryWorks - and we’re offering IPFA members the unique opportunity to get involved! What is the series? Transforming Tomorrow (working title) is a powerful new branded film series produced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions, that will take global audiences behind the scenes to explore the projects, technologies, and ideas defining the future of #infrastructure. Through human-centric storytelling, the series will shed a new light on the systems we rely on every day, and the processes by which they come into existence. Each branded piece will profile an innovative infrastructure project or technology, ranging from renewable energy systems to advanced digital networks, and including non-traditional sectors and organisations who are now stepping forward to take part in the development of infrastructure projects. The series will seek to answer questions such as: - How are successful infrastructure projects formulated and financed? - How can infrastructure be designed with climate resilience in mind to mitigate environmental risks and support vulnerable communities? - What are the most promising, ambitious and inclusive infrastructure projects driving positive outcomes for individuals and communities? - How can digital infrastructure, including data centres, 5G, and AI, contribute to addressing societal challenges? How can my organisation get involved? We invite IPFA members who are leading infrastructure progress and wish to participate to share their stories with the BBC. If you’ve worked on projects related to the themes outlined in the questions above, we encourage you to submit your story. Please send your interest directly to the creative teams at BBC StoryWorks by 14 March via this link: ?? https://lnkd.in/e-adUubB. After review, selected organisations will be invited to discuss engaging BBC StoryWorks’ creative teams to produce a branded piece for the series. This will entail a cost determined by production variables. A dedicated BBC StoryWorks production team will work closely with selected organisations to create powerful content, and partnering organisations will be able to distribute the content on their own channels with support from the BBC StoryWorks and IPFA teams. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential submission, feel free to arrange a quick chat with Shibani Radway, who is leading this initiative at IPFA: [email protected] For further information regarding the BBC series, please contact Grace Warren, series developer at BBC StoryWorks: [email protected] #IPFA #BBC #Opportunity #FilmSeries #Infrastructure #Energy #GlobalNetwork #Community #Connecting
