We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the project at Swisscom Outpost Silicon Valley! ?? After weeks of designing, coding, testing, and refining, the project is now live and running smoothly. ?? This week, we had the honor of meeting Dr. Adrien Gaidon, Adjunct Professor at Stanford, where we explored advancements in Robot Vision and the question of how to make it practically useful. ?? ?????????????? ????????????:?We’re excited to announce the successful installation of the tool we developed over the past weeks at our project sponsor’s site! It’s exciting to see our work come to life and begin delivering value. ?? At Salesforce and Apple, we delved into how cutting-edge innovation is shaping the future—highlighted by our hands-on experience with the Apple Vision Pro, offering a glimpse into the next wave of immersive technology. ?? To round off the week, we took in a Stanford Football Game and joined a local run club for a trail run. With just one week left, we’re excited to dive into the final stretch and make the most of it!

This week, we had the privilege of attending a valuable workshop with Donna Griffit, where we learned how to elevate our project pitches through the art of storytelling. It's not just about presenting data – it’s about crafting a narrative that connects emotionally and leaves a lasting impact, almost like speed dating for ideas!?? We’re excited to apply these insights to our final presentation. We also enjoyed a unique experience biking around the Google Campus and visiting the new Google Experience Center. A special highlight was meeting Daniel Kottke, one of Apple’s earliest employees and a close friend of Steve Jobs. His inspiring stories about building the Apple-1 and pushing the limits of technology reminded us to stay curious, embrace challenges, and nurture our passion. ???? The week culminated with an unforgettable BBQ invitation at Mary’s ranch, where we experienced genuine American hospitality. Her warmth and kindness, combined with delicious food and great company, left a lasting impression – showcasing the Americans openness and generosity that make newcomers feel truly welcome. ???????? 3 “?????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ????????!” That’s the philosophy at NVIDIA, as we discovered during our exclusive tour of their headquarter. A big thank you to Guiti Nabavi for sharing your insights and giving us a glimpse into the innovation that drives NVIDIA’s success. ?? Our third week was filled with more than just tech. We sharpened our golf swings at Topgolf, enjoyed fajitas, and experienced firsthand how major firms like Google Cloud use these events for networking and meetings.?? Meanwhile, the Swisscom Outpost Silicon Valley project is right on track as we entered the coding phase. We adopted pair programming, allowing us to share our skills with one another, making our collaboration even more dynamic and efficient. To recharge, we took an extended weekend in Las Vegas, soaking up the energy of the Strip, enjoying a Cirque du Soleil show, and even a thrilling helicopter ride over the city. We had the unique opportunity to tour San Jose City Hall with Mary Anne Groen, who provided us with an insider's perspective on how one of Silicon Valley’s most dynamic cities operates. ? Another standout moment of the week was the presentation by Shawn Flynn. He shared invaluable tips on networking, emphasizing not just the importance of making connections but also the art of nurturing and sustaining them over time. Our project with Swisscom Outpost Silicon Valley is progressing smoothly! We've completed the wireframe and had the chance to review it with our sponsor. Additionally, the technical design is now finalized, and we’re ready to start coding. ? Beyond our official International Project Experience through?HSLU Hochschule Luzern, we also took some time to explore the vibrant city of San Francisco.
