On Wednesday Congressman Earl "Buddy" Carter led the hearing "An Examination of How Reining in PBMs Will Drive Competition and Lower Costs for Patients." “Patients are counting on us to stop the abusive practices that drive up out-of-pocket costs on their prescription drugs,” said Chairman Carter. “This Committee has worked to identify bipartisan solutions that will meaningfully help patients access their medications.
