The U.S. Department of Commerce’s planned $300 million investment in advanced substrates and workforce development is critically important to strengthening U.S. leadership in manufacturing. Still, additional investment is needed in advanced printed circuit boards (#PCBs), or the U.S. supply chain will have a critical missing link. The U.S. can better secure its national security and critical infrastructure by investing in its domestic PCB and assembly industries.
