The KHATCH Program, a groundbreaking partnership between I-PASS and the Kentucky Hospital Association, has expanded to 31 hospitals and has exceeded enrollment goals by 220%! UK King's Daughters Medical Center ?? T.J. Regional Health These hospitals are taking a major step toward safer, more effective handoff communication and improved patient outcomes. We’re excited to announce that Ephraim McDowell Health has joined as the fifth provider organization in the I-PASS Kentucky Hospital Association Transitions and Communication in Hospitals (KHATCH) Program. Originally set to be implemented in 9 hospitals within its first year, the I-PASS KHATCH Program has expanded to 25—nearly tripling its goal. With the addition of EMH’s three facilities, the program has already reached 32% of its eight-year target to improve care quality and patient safety across 60% of KHA members.
