Soror Sightings! ?? This week has been busy for our amazing Zeta Chi Sorors! ?? Boots on the Ground!: A group of our Sorors laced up their sneakers and attended the free line dancing class led by Donna “Mama Dee” Page at Randolph Community Center. Join the fun every Tuesday at 6:45 pm and dance the night away with us! ?? Promoting Literacy: In honor of Read Across America, Soror Jasmine Sheffield, a dedicated teacher at Woodville Elementary, invited Soror DR. MONICA L. BALL to read to Mrs. Williams’ first-grade class. It was a heartwarming session that not only promoted children’s literacy but also showcased the strength of our sisterhood in supporting educational initiatives. ?? Supporting Young Entrepreneurs: Soror Dr. Monica Ball was also spotted at the Richmond Children’s Business Fair, where she captured delightful moments and supported young entrepreneurs. March 1st, Zeta Chi Sorors showed up and showed out at the Good Green Acres grand opening in #CharlesCityVA! It was a beautiful day to celebrate Black excellence, entrepreneurship, and sustainability in our service area. We love to see our community thrive! ??? #IotaPhiLambda

To close out Black History Month, the Zeta Rho chapter hosted a movie night at Soror Sonja Holt’s business, “The Spot,” in Petersburg. Sorors from Zeta Chi, Zeta Rho, and Gamma Delta Chapter with friends, gathered to watch The Six Triple Eight. This was the first public event for our new line of Sorors and a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with Sorors from our sister chapters. Thank you, Zeta Rho, for hosting! #iotaphilambda

The Zeta Chi chapter successfully hosted a virtual fundraiser, gathering essential items for parents and children to support Forward Foundation VA. This donation drive was part of the Iota Mother’s Assistance Program (IMAP). We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this noble cause! #iotaphilambda
