Driven by Dr. Opal Lee’s mission to make Juneteenth a national holiday?in the U.S., we transformed her 2.5-mile walk into a global movement through brand strategy, creative, experiential, marketing, public relations, and partnerships.
Together, we:?
??Expanded and franchised the walk to major U.S. cities, as well as Latin America, Europe, and Asia
??Campaigned and delivered?1.5+ million?signatures to U.S. Congress, leading to President Joe Biden signing Juneteenth into law in June 2021
??Designed Opal Lee's brand ecosystem, featured across social media, billboards, merchandise, and securing?billions?of media impressions
?Helped develop and publish?"Juneteenth: A Children’s Story", developed curricula, and partnered with the Smithsonian Museum to raise global awareness
The movement has secured over?$15 million?for the forthcoming National Juneteenth Museum , inspiring global education and action, while bringing Dr. Opal’s vision of "Freedom for All" to life.
