According to recent data from leading mortgage financing provider Fannie Mae, many individuals are rethinking homeownership due to persistently high mortgage rates and home prices. A record 36% of survey respondents said they would rent if they were to move, and the number of people who said it was a good time to purchase a home dropped by 40 percent in the past four years. This data explains the growing demand for alternate, reasonably priced housing solutions where individuals and families can save up for homeownership down the line if that’s their goal.
