You can’t predict the future—but you can prepare for it. Scenario planning helps you anticipate risks before they become a crisis, giving you a clear plan of action when the unexpected happens. 5 Steps for Effective Scenario Planning: ?? Identify Potential Risks: What external or internal challenges could impact your business? Get everything on the table—big or small. ?? Assess Likelihood & Impact: Prioritize risks by asking: How likely is this? How big of a disruption would it cause? Focus on high-probability, high-impact scenarios first. ?? Develop Response Strategies: For each critical risk, outline multiple response options. Pricing adjustments? New customer segments? Doubling down on brand loyalty? Explore the possibilities. ?? Align with Leadership & Decide: Scenario planning is a team effort. Leaders need to agree on priorities, strategies, and adjustments to stay prepared. ?? Monitor & Revisit Regularly: Risks evolve. Make scenario planning a continuous process to keep your organization agile and ready for what’s next. Uncertainty is a given, but being caught off guard doesn’t have to be. Kathy Andrew recently made the trip to Sudbury to connect with some of our incredible partners, and as always, the city delivered. From bold ideas to great experiences, every visit reminds us why we love working here. This time, Science North & Dynamic Earth and Sean Kenney’s LEGO? Art exhibit stood out—an incredible blend of creativity and engineering. (And if Kathy’s photo next to that dragon is any indication, she was pretty excited about it.) Then there was #YESTheatre’s production of Groundhog Day—a performance full of energy, depth, and the kind of storytelling that sticks with you. And, of course, no trip to Sudbury is complete without a stop at #DiGusto —because some traditions are worth keeping. As a boutique strategy firm expanding across Canada, we thrive on working with partners who share our bold approach to ideas and execution. Sudbury is just one of the many places where we see that in action, and we can’t wait to be back.

Disruptions can feel like a threat, but they also present something incredibly valuable—opportunity. ? Stabilize & Secure – Identify vulnerabilities, align your team, and shore up key operations. Before you can grow, you need a strong foundation. ? Shift to Offence – Don’t just react—seek opportunities. What gaps have emerged? What inefficiencies can you exploit? Disruptions create opportunities for those who move quickly. ? Innovate & Expand – Use the moment to rethink everything. Adapt existing products, enter new markets, streamline operations, or forge unexpected partnerships. ? Move Fast & Execute – Speed matters. While others hesitate, take calculated action. Empower your team to test ideas, fail fast, and iterate. Disruptions don’t have to be roadblocks. Use them as a launchpad!

At inVision, we know that team alignment isn’t a one-time event—it’s an ongoing commitment! That’s why we prioritize Team Alignment sessions throughout the year, giving us set times to step back, reflect, and grow together. With new faces on board, this session was the perfect opportunity to explore Working Genius, map out our team’s unique strengths, and have conversations that help us collaborate more effectively. A huge thank you to Kathy Andrew for leading such a thoughtful and energizing session! John Ferris, Leanne Jones, Cecille Mendoza, Teah Lytwyn
