Light in the Darkness A few weeks ago, our sponsored girls celebrated Diwali! Known as the joyous Festival of Lights, Diwali was celebrated across India. Marking the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, this festival is celebrated enthusiastically across different communities and faiths. In preparation, families clean and decorate their homes, place oil lamps throughout their space and create intricate rangoli designs at their doorsteps. The festivities include new clothes, sweet treats, and gatherings for delicious meals. Fireworks light up the skies, creating a beautiful backdrop for a season of togetherness, joy, and renewed hope. Because of our strong community of supporters, we can bring light, hope, and opportunities to these girls. Thank YOU! #education #girls #light
