This just in: Paramount's annual ESG report is out! Major props to Crystal Barnes, Adam Robinson, and the whole team for the beautiful and so important work of propelling the world forward. We're so proud to have a hand in it. Earlier this year, we collaborated with Paramount, Tribal Minds, Inc., and Indigenous artists and creators to bring Murals for Change to life. This so very powerful activation brought Indigenous voices front and center, delivering their messages to Las Vegas right in time for Super Bowl LVIII. This effort was about culture-bearers, respect and beauty, and a timely reminder that “what’s good for the fish is good for the people.” Friends, as the work continues, may we always celebrate the stories and the amazing people we get to tell them with.?
Paramount's 2023-2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report is out today, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved, together! ?? In an environment that's constantly evolving, our commitment to sustainability and social impact is an important part of our growth and success. And this year, our global ESG efforts were on full display.??From the historic Super Bowl LVIII, where we elevated underrepresented voices through our Content For Change work, to our ongoing drive to reduce operational emissions, we are making a real, measurable impact.? A huge shoutout to all the Paramount team and partners (including Alfalfa Studio and BuzzWord, Inc.) for their work in shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future.?To our fearless ESG leader Jessica Thurston and strategy and reporting expert Laurel Jiang -- YOU DID IT AGAIN! ?? ?? For the love of a good match ?? When great partners come together, amazing things happen. Big shoutout to our friends and allies at Tinder and Vote.org making waves for voters this year and getting people excited to get to the polls! Tap in → Vote.org
We have been busy at Tinder lately!? From our AREA partnership at NYFW to launching our Take Action Center powered by Vote.org yesterday; Tinder is booked, busy, and ready to make a difference in this election. First of all, I’m so proud of the collaboration between AREA, Tinder, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Not only did we launch a limited edition shirt, but we also invited three reproductive rights activists – one of whom had to cross state lines to access essential abortion care. This was more than a collab, this was an opportunity to use our collective platforms to lift up these essential voices and stories during a critical time when lives are literally on the line due to abortion bans. Secondly, we launched our Take Action Center, powered by Vote.org, is a one-stop hub where users can register to vote, find polling locations, and stay up to date on important deadlines—all directly within the app. Voting is literally the bedrock of democracy. And without the right to free and fair elections, no other rights can be protected or expanded including LGBTQ+ rights or reproductive freedom. Tinder’s mission is to create meaningful connections, and those connections at their heart cannot be meaningfully made if the rights to pick your partner, express your gender identity, or access reproductive healthcare are not protected. And if you’re on Tinder, you can show potential matches where you stand on reproductive rights or if you’re voting or registered to vote using one of our brand new profile stickers in the Take Action Center. Because did you know that voting makes you 10x hotter?? Well, at least to this childless dog lady. Huge thanks to the whole team that made this happen Melissa Hobley, Faye Iosotaluno, Philip Price Fry, Duran Brown, Cary Leitzes, Nicole Krasnov, Kareem Burke, Dan Shinaberry, Ph.D., Cleo N. Long, Tyler Hagenbuch, Andrea Hailey, Jamila Galloway, Morgan Callahan, and Genevieve Roth. Let’s do this! ?? ???? Eight years ago, our founder Genevieve Roth was campaign staffing her first DNC—clocking 30,000 steps a day and making sure big moments happened with legends like John Lewis and Yara Shahidi. Fast forward to this year, where we had the absolute thrill of seeing Invisible Hand clients and friends not just show up—but light up the city–and the main stage! Though much has changed in eight years, the core of what we do remains the same—purposeful, grounded in values, and really, really fun. Here’s a taste of y’all doing the darn thing for Democracy: Reproductive Freedom for All: President Mini Timmaraju took the stage to say it loud—when abortion is on the ballot, WE WIN. XQ Institute: Co-Founder and CEO Russlynn Ali teamed up with The American Federation of Teachers to stir up some GOOD TROUBLE for America’s youth and economy. National Women's Law Center: CEO and President Fatima Goss Graves spotlighted critical issue, from the Care Economy to Reproductive Freedom. Climate Power: With nearly 40% of voters prioritizing climate, Climate Power showed Chicago that Climate Voters Go All In. Equis Research: Equis brought Latino power and influence to the DNC stage (what’s up, Eva Longoria!) and all over town. Define American: Founder of Define American, Jose Antonio Vargas joined Carri Twigg and Brad Jenkins for a live taping of newly launched Twiggs and Jenkins to discuss the stakes this year. Vote.org: And of course, we always rep the Vote.org merch! This remains among the most consequential elections of our lifetime. Less than 70 days to go, and it’s all gas, no brakes. Looking to get in the mix? Give us a ring.

Today, The Archewell Foundation launches The Parents’ Network and the #NoChildLosttoSocialMedia campaign. Invisible Hand has been behind the scenes on this work for years, and it’s surreal and special to see it come to life. Built in collaboration with The Dinner Party and the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS), The Parents' Network is a sanctuary and resource for parents and caregivers navigating the complex world of Social Media. It’s a space for support, deep connection, and the consolidation of community power that will be needed as we work to forge a safer internet for our kids. I am always proud of the work we do on A Day of Unreasonable Conversation, our annual gathering for 600 or so television content creators who are "writing the script for the world." But, I am especially proud this year, and not just because of the incredible speakers and conversations that will grace the stage, but because it was built in true collaboration with the most talented, kind, creative and committed professionals at Propper Daley, directly alongside our partners, co-builders, and co-dreamers at Invisible Hand. And, this year was even more sweet because we got to do it with our clients, dear friends and partners-in-everything-always, Simpson Street. And finally, who should be so lucky as to have funders who are not just collaborators, but cheerleaders, mentors and doers. Thank you William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The Just Trust, Omidyar Network, Quadrivium Foundation, Walton Family Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The Moriah Fund, Imaginable Futures, Luminate, Springbank, Partners in Kind Productions and SHOWTIME/MTVE for your true partnership. And that, my friends, is why I cannot wait for Monday!!

In pursuit of a longer table ?? We recently teamed up with The Meteor and Crooked Media to amplify an evening of impact for Vote.org. Watching CEO Andrea Hailey ignite the spark for equal access to the ballot box is to witness the heartbeat of a movement! What a joy it is to bring these powerhouse minds together.
