In a dramatic reversal, the SEC recently dismissed pending, contested administrative bar proceedings against accountants.?Although the Commission has not spoken publicly about the dismissals, they closely followed the Supreme Court decision against the agency in SEC v Jarkesy, suggesting the dismissals represent a reaction to the Court's affirmation of jury rights.
