Steel Time!!! Now that the perimeter Concrete Tilt-Up Panels are up, it's time for the Structural Steel to be the main focus at the ALTO Real Estate Funds project in the City of Wilmer (Texas). Jeff Slama and his crew will be using a Jig to Lift an entire bay of Joists in place. The video shows (5) 40LH Joist being lifted due to its 70' span over the Speed Bay; a normal bay will have (9) 30K Joists being lifted simultaneously into place. IDV is excited to announce we officially broke ground on Grand Port 99 Phase I – a development by IDV and ALTO in Baytown, TX! This project has been a long time coming and we are thrilled to have ALTO on board as our equity partner for Phase I. This will be another Houston industrial development for the IDV and ALTO teams, and our second in the Port of Houston market. Grand Port 99 is located north of the Houston Ship Channel just east of Grand Parkway (TX-99) between Kilgore Parkway and FM 565 with great access to Interstate 10. Phase I will consist of a 338k-sf cross dock and a 143k-sf front load distribution buildings and is on pace for a 2Q2025 delivery.
