With a combined tenure of over 40 years at #Investcorp, Herb and Mike have overseen $25 billion in gross asset value for the US real estate platform, establishing Investcorp as a top 5 cross-border investor in US real estate and setting the stage for continued growth and innovation. As Investcorp expands its focus on real estate and infrastructure investments globally, their new roles as Global Co-Heads of Real Assets will be instrumental in navigating market opportunities and delivering value to our investors. #Investcorp's portfolio company, RESA Power continues to show great momentum as a partner of choice in the electric services sector with its seventh acquisition of 2024 - Prime Engineering. Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Prime enhances RESA's engineering capabilities and adds expertise in the supply of medium voltage power systems across Canada and the US. #Investcorp Credit Management hosted a conference for local Japanese pension funds, in Osaka, Japan, last week. The event brought together 20 pension funds from Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe and introduced Investcorp’s Credit Management business. Reflecting on the event, Jeremy Ghose, Managing Partner and CEO of Investcorp Credit Management, commented “It was great to host an event in Osaka and to meet with local pension funds and universities in Japan. During the conference, we discussed the upcoming US and Japanese elections, the importance of ESG and the opportunity in Japan.”

New research supported by #Investcorp in partnership with Sa?d Business School, University of Oxford, and researchers from the University of Hamburg has yielded initial insights into consumer attitudes towards climate change.? ? The study aims to inform businesses, policymakers, academia and investors about the drivers of and barriers to sustainable consumption trends. ? Habib Abdur-Rahman, Global Head of Sustainability at Investcorp, stressed the relevance of this research project for sustainable investment strategies. “Even minor shifts in consumer choices can significantly impact greenhouse gas emissions. #Investcorp’s Climate Solutions team has published a new report titled “The Other Sea Change,” which makes the case for climate change being the most important and profound investment shift of the next several decades, posing enormous opportunity for well positioned companies and the potential for enormous risk to holdings on the wrong side of warming and weather trends. In a respectful nod to Howard Marks and his own recent “Sea Change” thesis, the paper argues that it is climate more than any other factor that is the sea change – a sweeping alteration of the investment environment – calling for significant capital reallocation.
