Invest in Girls (A Program of CEE)

Our Invest in Girls program has a mission to usher in the next generation of financially literate girls and increase the number of women working in finance and financially related fields–and it’s working!! ? Invest in Girls merged into CEE five years ago and the number of girls participating annually has gone up by nearly 3x to just under 2,000?annually. We have nearly doubled the number of program sites and more than doubled the number of states where the program is operating. This impressive group of high school students recently spent their school break participating in IIG's Exploring Finance program, which offers students the opportunity to explore careers in finance and connect with industry professionals, gaining valuable insights into their future paths. We are grateful to the National Organization of Investment Professionals, TP ICAP, Liquidnet, IEX, and the many volunteers who made this experience possible by sharing their time, expertise, and workplaces. The Florida Council on Economic Education, a CEE affiliate, recently hosted an Invest in Girls event for 42 young women at Miami Dade College. The students engaged in hands-on learning, connected with industry professionals, and walked away feeling inspired and confident about their financial futures. #finance #investingirls
