Elena R. Fernandez is getting ready to launch a 12-week curriculum-based process group for adults navigating mourning and grief. Adult Grief Group will be offered in person at our beautiful outpatient clinic in Pearland on Tuesdays at 10am or Saturdays at 9:30am beginning on October 29th. I am delighted to welcome Elena R. Fernandez to the Intuitions team. Elena is available in person at our Pearland clinic Mondays through Fridays and is currently taking new patients. She has extensive experience working in the substance use treatment field. Her background includes treating clients who experienced traumatic events (PTSD, CPTSD), grief, anxiety, depression, insomnia, life transitions, substance use, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Her approach is trauma-informed, non-directive, non-judgmental, deeply empathetic, and exploratory. Having been exposed to diverse cultures and ways of living around the world, she understands the challenges of trying to fit in and adapting to a new life while preserving your own cultural values. As a bilingual therapist, she is equally proficient in providing services in both Russian and English. Welcome, Elena!

Melissa, an LPC-A, specializes in working with individuals with addiction, trauma histories, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Her 6 years of experience as an LCDC has fine-tuned her expertise in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, and DBT. Her empathetic approach is empowering to clients and helps foster growth and change.
