What are some benefits of using MiroCam? ? ? We have both a dual-lens and single-lens small bowel capsule available. Our dual-lens capsule records a solid 6 frames per second, has a 340 degree view significantly reducing the risk of missing pathology and displays bright clear images with 12 LEDs. ? The Express View feature in our software produces a median read time of 13 minutes for a single study compared to a median of 71 minutes in standard play. It drastically reduces the Physician’s read time with a high diagnostic accuracy. The diagnostic accuracy has just been updated from a 82% diagnostic accuracy to 97%. ? ? We utilize Human Body Communication as our method of data transmission between the capsule and the recorder, leading us to having a smaller capsule and longer battery life at 12 hours recording time versus the standard 8 hours. We are currently the smallest capsule in the market. Since we do not use radio frequency we encourage patients to stay hydrated before and during the procedure. Human Body Communication eliminates the need for water restriction and maximizes patient comfort. ? For additonal patient comfort and less hassle we also have a disposable data belt that is included with our capsules. This belt can be thrown away after every patient so there is nothing extra to sanitize or disinfect between patients and they are light and comfortable for the wearer. ?
