Of all the tactics, tools and methods for success that we’ve learned to employ over the years, the most valuable by far has been our connection to each other. We’ve found that simply being together (in-person or remotely) has a huge impact on favorable outcomes, both for our business and our overall lives. We are more than colleagues. We are supporters, mentors, confidants, challengers, collaborators, motivators, and friends. We rely on each other, have each other’s backs and genuinely care for each other. We used the word “other” three times in that last sentence. You know, it’s probably the most important word on this entire page. The business of life is human connection. But do you know WHY they left? There two basic questions every organization has when it comes to sales growth and customer retention: 1.?????What does my sales forecast look like??(i.e., how many new customers/members can I expect in the next period?) 2.?????What does my customer retention look like??(i.e., how many of my current customers/members are staying or going?) And there are a lot of software solutions that help us answer these questions.?The majority of these solutions are based on the numbers game.?For example, we can predict our sales growth based on: ·??????# of emails opened ·??????# of leads obtained ·??????average conversion rate, etc. And we can predict how many customers we will retain based on their activity (especially in software products).?For example, ·??????frequency of logins ·??????features used ·??????# of support issues logged, etc. Of course, we tell ourselves that we can conduct exit surveys to learn why they chose our competitor or why they left.?Do these ever work??“The customer went dark” is a phrase many of us have heard more times than we care to remember. We believe there is only ONE type of software that can help tell you why your customers are staying or leaving; community engagement platforms like Intrivium.?It’s why community platforms are increasingly popular and continuing to grow exponentially! Community engagement allows us to stop talking AT our customers and open up the two-way conversation.?Our customers tell us what they like and what they don’t like! (vs. a LinkedIn post or an outreach email) ·??????Open dialogue in your company’s experiences and events.? ·??????Connecting with your experts through scheduled meetings.?(How many of us want to chat with an expert from a webinar afterwards but can’t connect?) ·??????Ability to post new topics and lessons learned; or even events that your customers are hosting!
