Intrepid is now hiring a Financial Management Analyst to join our team in supporting the United States Marine Corps (USMC)! The day-to-day work of the successful candidate will include managing funds and processes for the U.S. Marine Corps Staff; working with Funds Administrators as a POC to engage in training, obligations, PPBE corrections, system process error corrections, and requisitioning; conducting mid-year reviews and providing recommendations regarding distribution of resources, and more. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field), 3-5 years of relevant experience, and be knowledgeable of defense budget and reporting systems. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Donna Rybicky, GFEBS SA Cost Management SME! In her role, Donna serves as the day-to-day functional lead for Active Duty, Reserve, and centrally managed pay processing. She’s responsible for file tracking, overseeing the processing of obligations and expenditures, training users on MILPAY processes and error correction processes, clearing unmatched transitions, and processing helpdesk tickets. When asked about her favorite part of working at Intrepid, Donna said, "My team I work with - they are the BEST!" She also shared, "I love that Intrepid supports and gives back to their community. I am remote and unable to physically support our events, but I love hearing about them and being part of a company like this." One of Donna’s proudest accomplishments at Intrepid is her successful effort in researching and clearing MILPAY unmatched transactions at the end of the fiscal year, reducing numbers from 6,000+ to less than 700. Donna is a retired Air Force veteran of 24 years. She spent most of her career at Pope AFB (Ft. Bragg) and deployed twice in support of the Army. "It only makes sense that I support the Army mission after retirement," she said. She is also a proud grandma and loves all things Disney! Thank you for your service to our country and dedication to your team, the customer, and Intrepid, Donna. Flipping for a Cause! ?? This morning, the Intrepid crew was hard at work serving up pancakes for Kiwanis, and what a time we had! Laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of syrup made for a fantastic way to give back to the community.
