During #BlackHistoryMonth, we are proud to celebrate the many accomplishments of the members of our IWF community who are achieving excellence, inspiring the next generation, and transforming the world. Today, we spotlight IWF International Hall of Fame Honoree Sheila Johnson, Founder & CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts. As a trailblazing philanthropist and entrepreneur, she co-founded Black Entertainment Television LLC, and became the first Black woman to achieve billionaire status. Sheila is deeply committed to giving back, serving as a board member for the Jackie Robinson Foundation and founding the MIDDLEBURG FILM FESTIVAL. She is the first and only Black woman with an ownership stake in 3 professional sports teams. Sheila shares her professional and personal story in her memoir, Walk Through Fire. As an IWF Hall of Fame honoree, Sheila is an inspiration to the IWF global community, which unites over 8,200 women across continents, cultures, and careers. #IWFLeadsChange
