We were thrilled to welcome Adam Tenforde, MD to provide an update on the latest advances in shockwave therapy at the #IOFMAX Experience. A few key takeaways from his review of an international Delphi statement: -Shockwave NOT recommended for high-grade and full-thickness tendon tears -Do not use anesthesia -Combine ESWT with physical therapy -Treat 1-2 weeks apart for 3-5 sessions -Combine the use of focus and radial devices when available -No consensus to combine ESWT with orthobiologics
