The Business Explorer team were recently invited by Hughie Mac Suibhne of údarás na Gaeltachta to come and meet the team at the Donegal regional office. The morning got of to a great start with the regional manager Micheal Mac Giolla Easbuig introducing the team and providing an overview of the work of údarás na Gaeltachta and more specifically their work with businesses in the Gealtachta regions. Michelle Billham, InterTradeIreland Innovation Programme Manager and Rachael Corridan, Project Manager provided insight on the wide range of support InterTradeIreland provides SME’s across Innovation, Trade, Clustering and Female Entrepreneurship on the island. After the meeting, Michelle and Rachael were delighted to meet with The Crolly Distillery, Errigal Brewing Company and Gillcon Group in the area who were seeking to innovate and consider opportunities for exporting. Michelle Billham remarked that the visit was highly productive, providing a valuable opportunity to engage directly with businesses that demonstrate forward-thinking approaches and a strong appetite for innovation. Exciting discussions took place, showcasing cutting-edge ideas and potential collaborations that could drive growth and expand market reach.
